We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Nurse to take charge of our nursing operations and help shape the future of patient care. In this key leadership role, you will drive clinical excellence, mentor and inspire our nursing team, and ensure the highest standards of patient care. You'll collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to enhance healthcare outcomes and play a pivotal role in delivering our mission of exceptional care.
Some of your key duties/responsibilities will include the following:
- Leading and supervising the nursing team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
- Coordinating and managing the delivery of patient care in accordance with clinical standards and protocols.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for nursing staff regarding patient care issues.
- Participating in direct patient care as needed to maintain clinical skills and support staff during high-demand periods.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and healthcare policies.
- Monitoring patient care outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives, including infection control, patient safety, and medication management.
The skills/qualifications required for this role are:
- Nursing qualification with current NMC registration as an RMN
- Minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
