We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Home Manager to join our team. Role Overview:
As the Home Manager of our 39 bed nursing care home, you will be at the forefront of ensuring a clean, comfortable, and secure environment for our residents. Your leadership will be pivotal in delivering personalised care that aligns with Nouvita’s core values. You will guide a team of dedicated professionals, contributing not only to the well-being of our residents but also to the growth and success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Care Home, driving continuous improvement and future service developments.
- Oversee all Clinical aspects within the service
- Lead your team with clear guidance and direction to achieve Nouvita’s strategic goals.
- Actively engage in networking and promoting the services offered by the Care Home.
- Ensure the delivery of tailored therapeutic activities that meet the needs of our residents.
- Stay current with legislation, statutory frameworks, and codes of conduct to ensure full compliance across the service.
- Collaborate with other managers to foster a cohesive approach to company-wide projects.
- Manage budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to meet operational needs.
- Uphold high standards of care and staff performance, ensuring the Care Home remains a leader in quality service.
- To ensure effective liaison with statutory and volunteer sector agencies, including CQC, PCT and Home Office’s etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Very Strong/Proven operational management experience.
- Previous experience managing or deputising a care or nursing home.
- A background in mental health care is essential.
- A Registered Nurse is highly desirable however not essential.
