Location: Baldock Manor Hospital
Hours: Full-time, including one weekend day every other week
Salary: £13.22 to £14.54 p/h

This is a unique opportunity for someone who may not have direct experience in a therapeutic role but has a passion for supporting others and bringing creative ideas to life.
You will design and deliver engaging, meaningful activities that support emotional wellbeing, confidence, and personal development. You will work closely with individuals to create a safe, supportive environment where they can express themselves and thrive.
Who We are Looking For!
We are especially interested in people who:
Have experience as a Support Worker, Care Worker, or similar role
Have worked with children with SEN (Special Educational Needs) in schools or other settings
Are naturally creative—this could include art, music, drama, storytelling, crafts, or other expressive activities
Are enthusiastic about trying new approaches and thinking outside the box
Have a warm, patient, and empathetic nature
Want to move into a more creative and therapeutic-style role
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering creative, therapeutic style activities such as arts and crafts, games etc
Supporting individuals to engage, express themselves, and build confidence
Adapting activities to meet different needs and abilities
Working as part of a supportive, forward-thinking team
Bringing your own ideas and creativity into the role
