Location: Baldock Manor Hospital and Community based (Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire)
Hours: Full Time - 5 days per week although 4 days considered
Salary: Up to £49,000 (depending on experience)

This is an exciting and varied opportunity working within our inpatient service and our other services, which include supported living and residential care homes across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire. This unique element of the role offers the chance to broaden your clinical experience and influence occupational therapy practice across multiple settings.
As part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions that support individuals in building independence, developing essential life skills, and progressing in their recovery. The role involves facilitating therapeutic groups and meaningful activity programmes, while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, psychology, medical, and support staff to ensure holistic care. You will also play a key role in supervising and supporting junior OT staff and students, as well as contributing to the ongoing development and innovation of occupational therapy services across the organisation.

This is an ideal role for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence service development while working within a passionate and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out functional and occupational assessments
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
- Lead both group sessions and 1:1 therapeutic interventions
- Provide supervision and mentorship to junior OT team members
- Collaborate closely with nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, and support workers
- Support discharge planning and coordinate with external services
- Engage in audits, CPD, and service improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting is preferable
- Experience with both group and individual OT interventions
- Supervisory experience desirable
- Own vehicle
- Driving Licence
