You will plan and deliver a range of activities that keep our residents engaged, entertained, and happy. From afternoon tea in the garden to arts and crafts, gentle exercise classes to seasonal celebrations. You will have the freedom to get creative, try new things, and really make the role your own. What You Will Be Doing:
Encourage resident participation to promote social inclusion, cognitive stimulation, and emotional wellbeing
Collaborate with the care and clinical teams to ensure activities align with individual therapeutic goals
Foster relationships with residents, families, and the wider community to enhance the programme
Organise special events, themed days, community visits (where appropriate), and seasonal celebrations
Maintain accurate records of activity participation and outcomes for care planning and quality monitoring
Support a positive, respectful, and homely environment within the care setting
This role is about much more than organising activities as it is also about creating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every resident feels valued and supported. From working closely with care teams and families to keeping accurate records and celebrating special occasions, you will play a vital role in making Eltisley Manor a place our residents are proud to call home.

Skills Required:
• Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals living with mental health conditions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
• Creative flair, with the ability to adapt activities for different abilities and needs
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in improving residents’ quality of life
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organisational skills and time management
• Basic IT literacy and documentation skills
